the finished Pirate Jim complete with sword scabbard! really happy with the finished product, had to tweak the design a little from the original as it would have been boring with just a white shirt!

Cowboy Jim's Talking to you!

Cowboy Jim! another of the final figures, i enjoyed this cause i got to do detail such as his Levis (have a look at the back shot!) same again this took about a day to do! two down, two to go!

One Regular Jim to Order!

One of my final Action Figures is finished! just thought i would show you the construction of Regular Jim! he took about a day to make and paint, Super Sculpey is Badass stuff! please have a look at his mini Vans!

"Itsa' me Mario!"

So Mario got some facial features, the eyes can look in any direction and the brow and eyebrows are moveable to get some exspressions, im not happy with the hair and moustache i need to add more gray to make him seem more aged! the hat was made from Super Sculpey, im loving the stuff!

Action Figures

These are the initial designs for the characters that i am going to make and the designs for the blister pack backing cards that are to be attached to the pack of my figures

Action Figure Tests

The First Tests for my action figures. i used a wire armature inside them with plasticine on top. the actual models will be made with a polymer clay like Sculpey. the figure on the left is my first attempt with no sculpting tools, the right hand figure was made after i fashioned some tools from objects and it came out much better! i really like the hair...
the bodys will need padding before they are made as these show that they are a little too small for the rest of the figures, but overall i am very happy with the second attempt

One layer of skin please...

Some Shots of the process of adding the skin layer to my Mario puppet, the grey hair around the head is staying but needs to be textured, im still toying with the idea of a grey moustache, im not sure if i can do that to Mario...

He's Been Eating his Pasta!

I sclupted the two polystyrene balls to resemble Mario's physique more, i have secured the arms and legs and its time to start adding the plastacine (note: the moustache is for illustration purposes only, expect the real one to be much larger!)

The Plot Thickens...

Some of Mario's "relics" that are kept on his walls...
